Shahnaz Husain

Shahnaz Husain, pioneer of Ayurvedic beauty care and one of India’s leading woman entrepreneurs, has taken Ayurveda worldwide. Today, she heads the Shahnaz Husain Group of Companies, with its global network of franchise salons, retail outlets, beauty training academies, as well as 380 Ayurvedic formulations for beauty and health care. Shahnaz has lectured at leading international universities on Ayurveda. She spoke at Harvard Business School and became a Harvard Case Study on brand creation. Now she is a subject at Harvard for “Emerging Markets” in recognition of the international market for Ayurvedic beauty care created by her. She has received several prestigious awards, including the World’s Greatest Woman Entrepreneur Award from Success, U.S. based Business Magazine, and the Padma Shri Award. Shahnaz is dedicated to social causes through Skill Development and free courses for the physically challenged.
